How To Sign Up For the Christmas Club

Christmas Club runs for 20 pay periods, from the first January paycheck through the last October paycheck. Deductions can be adjusted at any time. Christmas Club disbursements will occur by mid-November for the YTD amount deducted and will be matched at 10%, up to $100.

If you update your deduction after payroll processing begins, it will take effect on the next payroll. Please check your Paylocity pay stub for accuracy.

This is feature is only accessible via a desktop and not in the Paylocity mobile app.

1. Log in to Paylocity and go to the Self-Service Portal using the menu () on the left

2. In the Pay block, click More

3. Click Deductions.

4. Click CHRIS to edit your Christmas Club

5. In the Rate / Amount field, enter the amount you would like deducted from each paycheck.

Tip: These suggested semi-monthly deductions show per-pay amounts, totals for the year, and a 10% employer match. You can enter as much or as little as you’d like, but the match will only apply up to $1,000.

  • $10.00/pay$200 total (+$20 match) = $220
  • $20.00/pay$400 total (+$40 match) = $440
  • $30.00/pay$600 total (+$60 match) = $660
  • $40.00/pay$800 total (+$80 match) = $880
  • $50.00/pay$1,000 total (+$100 match) = $1,100

6. Click “Save & Return”

7. In the list of deductions, you will see $0.00 and a yellow dot (🟡) indicating that your deduction is under review with HR and will be added to your next check once approved.

Tip: To suspend your Christmas Club deductions, follow these instructions, but reduce the deduction to $0 and click save. To withdraw your Christmas Club early (early deductions are not eligible for the match), please email humanresources@indianrocks.org for information on how to do that.
