Policy
Indian Rocks expects staff to follow guidelines conducting themselves in a manner protecting the interests and safety of others.


While it is impossible to list every action that is unacceptable conduct, the following lists some examples. Employees who break work rules, such as these, may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment:

• Dishonesty or falsification of any work, personnel, or other ministry records
• Swearing or verbal abuse while on ministry property
• Theft or inappropriate removal or possession of property
• Falsification of timekeeping records
• Possession, consumption, or working under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs
• Smoking
• Fighting or threatening violence in the workplace
• Boisterous or disruptive activity in the workplace
• Negligence or improper conduct leading to damage of ministry-owned or
customer-owned property
• Insubordination or other disrespectful conduct
• Sexual or other unlawful or unwelcome harassment toward coworkers or
clientele
• Discrimination toward coworkers or clientele
• Possession unauthorized materials, such as explosives or firearms, in the
workplace
• Excessive absenteeism, absence without notice or failure to report an
absence
• Unauthorized use of telephones, mail system, or other ministry-owned
equipment
• Unauthorized disclosure of confidential ministry information
• Unauthorized taking of ministry funds, property, or unauthorized charges
against a ministry account
• Unsatisfactory performance or conduct
• Sleeping on the job
• Failure to comply ministry policies/procedures

Procedure
Employees who violate work rules, such as these, may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment,
These examples are not all-inclusive; other behavior may also lead to discharge on the first occurrence. Since employment at Indian Rocks is voluntary and at will, you may terminate your employment at anytime you want, with or without cause or advance notice. Likewise, Indian Rocks may terminate your employment at any time, with or without cause or advance notice.
