Staff members who voluntarily choose to provide childcare for families within our school community must follow specific guidelines to ensure clarity, safety, and separation from their official duties at Indian Rocks.
Key Requirements:
- Childcare must occur outside of your scheduled work hours and off Indian Rocks property.
- No Indian Rocks materials or spaces (classrooms, supplies, etc.) may be used for this personal arrangement.
- You may not pick up a child before your workday ends.
- Prior to providing care, the child’s parent must submit both:
- The Acknowledgment, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability Form
- A Change of Information Form listing you as an authorized pick-up contact
These steps protect everyone involved and help maintain a clear boundary between personal and professional responsibilities.
